Rev. Wooduronn Holman is the fifth of five children born to Woodrow Sr. and Eula Holman in Fort Worth, Texas.

Rev. Holman attended the public schools in Fort Worth, Texas, graduating from O.D. Wyatt High School in 1986.  Upon graduation, Rev. Holman attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, on an athletic scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education in 1991.

Rev. Holman’s vocational career has taken him from the field of social work to his current position as Senior Manager for FedEx Ground in Fort Worth, Texas, a position he has held since September 1, 2018.

Rev. Holman’s ministry began at his home church of Carter Metropolitan C.M.E. Church in Fort Worth, Texas under the leadership of Rev. Willie McCalister. It continued under Rev. McCalister at Cedar Crest C.M.E. Cathedral in Dallas, Texas.  Rev. Holman’s first pastoral appointment was to Friendship C.M.E. in Lindale, Texas in 1998.  In 2000 he was assigned to Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church in Tyler, Texas.  On July 21, 2018, at the Central Texas Region Annual Conference, Rev. Holman was assigned to the pastorate of Starrville C.M.E. Additional roles and assignments include the Board of Christian Education, the Joint Board of Finance and Committee on Ministerial Examination.  All of which occurred in the Central Texas Region. Also on July 20, 2018, Rev. Holman was elected Treasurer of the Central Texas Region. 

On August 2, 2025, Rev. Holman was assigned to Saint James CME, Gainesville, Texas of the Fort Worth District in the DFW/NWT Region.

Rev. Holman is married to Watricia Holman of Lubbock, Texas and they are the parents of Jasmine Coleman of Houston Texas, and Jarred Holman of Grand Prairie, Texas. They are also the proud grandparents of Nyla Rose Marlin.
